Kirino's best friend! They've been through a lot together and Shindou's one of the biggest influences on Kirino's life. That isn't to say they have some problems, though. Kirino's been afflicted by the green-eyed monster for a while and hasn't really spoken to Shindou about the issue. And then there's that whole thing about Kirino not telling Shindou he was a mutant... Kirino still isn't sure whether or not Shindou's over that...
Kirino's roommate. Kirino was less than impressed by the guy's hygiene at first... he still is, he's just used to it by now. Kirino can get a bit squicked out by some of the things Apollo does, but it's ignorable most of the time. Plus, it usually means Kirino has the room to himself!
A detective from Paris, how awesome is that?! And an ace striker to boot? Just double the awesome! In other words, Charlie is Kirino's super-cool senpai. They've only known each other for a little while, but Charlie has proved to be an excellent tether to reason when Kirino has more than enough reasons to freak out (and on the rare occasion, does). Nicer than she acts a lot of the time. Kirino's starting to wonder if there's more to how he feels about her than just friendship...
That really fabulous kid. Kirino and Feliks don't quiet see eye-to-eye on some things (case in point: the party), but Kirino likes him all the same. He's an interesting guy and Kirino likes hanging out with him from time to time.
Gaming buddy! Gaming buddy who happens to have a peanut allergy. He's a pretty goofy guy who might help Kirino loosen up a bit. He's cool in Kirino's book, though!
... and for every little bit that John helps Kirino loosen up, Toushirou winds Kirino right back up. Fellow bitter brat and killjoy. Their talks are usually about how stupid the people around them are. Still, Kirino thinks he's alright. They have strategy classes together, and Toushirou's been giving him kendo pointers.
Another teammate of Kirino's from back home! But what the hell is this kid doing here?! However, on the whole, Kirino's by no means surprised that Tenma showed up. After all, he was hiding being a mutant himself, who says others weren't? Not to mention, it makes sense, in a way. Kirino's taking it upon himself to look after him. There's been some instances where Tenma's attitude has been grating on his nerves, especially here. Not to mention, his English is currently cringe-worthy.
A strange boy from a hundred years ago. Mistook Kirino for a girl upon their first meeting, but Kirino's forgiven him. He's a little odd, but a nice guy! Kirino's curious about his story, especially since he was in the military...!
A rough-and-tumble shut-in who likes cats. But then again, who doesn't like cats? Her mutation tends to mess with people's heads and make them see her as things. She's also apparently pretty sick? Kirino's not privy to the details and he's not sure he wants to know. She has a caretaker that stays with her who wears a gas mask. This chick is also metal as fuck.
His actual name's Irezumi. Can someone say creepy as fuck? Because that describes Smile to a "T"! He's a good guy, though. Kirino doesn't really know him that well (and doesn't know that he's Sabitsuki's older brother). He can't help but wonder just how much those tattoos over his eyes must have hurt...
